Nina’s Story
Nina worked in a sports shop and wanted to be promoted to a cashier. However, Nina is autistic, and she was overlooked.
New staff who joined after her were promoted, leaving Nina sad and stuck in the store section.


Nina contacted Suffolk Law Centre for help. They supported her, explained her rights, and worked with the shop to make reasonable adjustments.
Nina received cashier training designed for her needs.
Nina successfully completed her training and was promoted to cashier, the role she had always wanted.
The sports shop became more inclusive and supportive, ensuring that all employees have equal chances to grow.

Raj’s Story

Raj worked hard but faced discrimination because of his ADHD.
He was treated badly at work and eventually dismissed, leaving him feeling devastated and unfairly judged.
Raj contacted Suffolk Law Centre for help.
They guided him through the Employment Tribunal process and supported him every step of the way.


Raj reached a settlement with his employer and received compensation.
His case highlighted the importance of standing up against workplace disability discrimination and knowing your rights.
